Living In The MOMent, better known as LITMOM is a lifestyle brand and community designed to uplift, inspire and celebrate Black MOMs! Our mission is centered in elevating our stories, empowering our voices and amplifying our experiences. Founded in 2018 by televison and event producer, Roz Sandifer, LITMOM provides a platform, and is a safe space for MOMs within the Black community who seek balance, healing, encouragement, and support throughout all stages and paths to and through motherhood.
Since it’s conception, LITMOM has developed from an idea to an impactful movement, uniting and connecting MOMs through our pillar initiatives: THE LITMOM EXPERIENCE and LITMOM DIARIES. LITMOM has been featured on ESSENCE, Urban Beauty TV and BET, and much like the journey of motherhood, continues to evolve as a source of inspiration and hope to Black MOMs around the world.

Hi, I’m Roz!
I am a wife, entrepreneur, and MOM to two amazing littles. Anyone who knows me personally will probably say that I’ve always seemed to have had things together - focused and pretty clear on my sights. A fair assumption given my OCD tendencies…until I became a MOM of 2-under-2.
In 2017 I gave birth to my baby girl, but as a newly stay-at-home MOM juggling an infant, toddler, marriage, and chores, (notice I didn’t say self) I found myself spiraling in trying to balance it all. My desire to share my experience with other MOMs was met by sudden hesitation and fear of what other might think because after all, ‘I’m a Black woman. I’m strong, I got this, right?!’ WRONG!
The search to find a supportive network of MOMs who looked like me in which I felt safe enough to be vulnerable, were slim and thus the idea of LITMOM was born.
I remember the day clearly when God impressed it upon my spirit to begin this ministry. You know, God is funny; He reveals things to us in the most humorous of ways. (Would you believe me if I told you that the name, LITMOM, was inspired by yogurt? ) But one thing is for sure, when you see the sign - or the writing on the lid of a jar of Ouiplait, in my case - His message is very clear. On the morning of Feb 28, 2018 in the middle of a meltdown God said to, ‘Live In Moment.’ And here we are!
I always say that LITMOM is my third baby, and just like with any child, even in motherhood, in entrepreneurship, you will experience a series of developments, phases and changes. It’s called growth…EVOLUTION!
LITMOM has grown from an idea to an impactful movement. MOMs from all over the country have joined our tribe and we’ve been featured on such platforms as ESSENCE, Urban Beauty TV, and BET. We were even recognized by Disney + ESSENCE with the Essentials Heroes Award in 2020 for our work within the community. The blessings have been pouring down, and I am so humbly grateful for the wins - both big and small. But what I am most grateful for, is the opportunity to be able to provide a space for Black MOMs to connect - to come together in unity and support of one another, to exchange experiences, to laugh, to cry, to share their truths, and to be empowered and celebrated.
